Luke de Pulford Educated between the UK, Italy, and Lesotho, Luke came to an early appreciation of the importance of solidarity. Much of his professional life has focussed on the UK Parliament, where he is well known for his work in defence of human dignity. Luke is co-founder and director of the Arise Foundation. Jess Templeman Jess has a range of experience in human rights work. She spent several years in Kosovo, where she monitored war crime trials, worked with the highest levels of government, and advocated for the legal, social and economic rights of minority communities. She is Programmes Manager for South Asia and Africa. Sr Arpan Carvalho BS Sr Arpan is a Bethany Sister who has devoted her life to anti-trafficking work in India. She has over a decade of experience working with those most vulnerable to trafficking as well as rehabilitating those already victims of trafficking. Sr Arpan is currently President of AMRAT, a network of 600 working on the frontlines against trafficking. She is Arise's India Coordinator. Ted Scofield A three-time graduate of Vanderbilt University and published author,Ted is based in New York City and has been General Counsel of Arise since its inception. He is committed to raising awareness of modern slavery and advocating for its eradication. Andrea Ash Andrea Ash has been working as an accountant for over 25 years. She began her career in the music industry and has worked on films, documentaries and television. She became involved with Arise after hearing of the remarkable anti-slavery work of religious sisters. Sr Dominica Popach OP Sr Dominica entered the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena (Newcastle, Natal) in 2004. She was trained in the UK and Rome, studying theology at Oxford University. While at Arise, she has produced the ground-breaking report Threads of Solidarity, quantifying for the first time the remarkable contribution of religious in England and Wales to the anti-slavery cause. Sr Dominica is the inaugural Arise Foundation Fellow. Tinuke Bell Tinuke spent 20 years with Motorola after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward in London. Her time with Motorola spanned international operations including being the Corporate Finance Manager for Middle East Operations. Tinuke’s career has been focused on internal controls, financial governance and bid strategy. Tinuke has supported a number of charities in the past, and has been Treasurer of Home Start Westminster since 2015. Helen Horsfield Helen has twelve years’ experience working for the Secretariat of the International Society of Hypertension, and a further ten years promoting London as a destination. She joins Arise as Office Manager, to provide a dedicated level of administrative support to the executive staff and those organisations and individuals offering such invaluable frontline networks and provisions.
